South Korea Postpones Stablecoin Legislation Review; 8 Related Bills Pending

According to Edaily, South Korea’s National Assembly Politics Committee excluded stablecoin-related digital asset legislation from today’s review session (May 12), citing upcoming committee reorganization in May and local elections scheduled for June. The decision defers the stablecoin bill to the second half of the year. Currently, eight stablecoin-related bills await processing in the National Assembly.
