South Korea Establishes AI Crime Task Force Across 10 Government Departments

According to Odaily, South Korea announced recently the establishment of an inter-agency task force to combat artificial intelligence-enabled crimes, including digital sex crimes, financial fraud, and fake advertising. The new body, named the 'Inter-Agency Consultative Group on AI-Related Crimes,' comprises members from 10 government departments including the Broadcasting and Communications Commission, Ministry of Science and ICT, Gender Equality and Family Ministry, Financial Services Commission, and National Police Agency.
