SK Hynix M15X Plant Catches Fire for Second Time in June, Over 4,000 Staff Evacuated

According to reports, SK Hynix's M15X facility in Chungcheongbuk-do, South Korea, caught fire on June 12 at 9:55 a.m. The sprinkler system automatically extinguished the blaze, with no casualties reported. Over 4,000 employees were evacuated as a precaution.

The company told Yicai reporters that the fire has been initially contained and production equipment is operating normally. This marks the second safety incident at the facility this month, following a fire on June 1.
