According to Arkham on-chain data, Sharplink purchased 5,000 ETH ($7.85 million) yesterday from crypto prime brokerage FalconX, marking its first Ethereum acquisition in eight months. The purchase coincided with ETH declining to $1,537, its lowest level in 2026. Sharplink now holds approximately 876,285 ETH and ETH equivalents.
Sharplink CEO Joseph Chalom cited three long-term catalysts for his bullish Ethereum outlook: regulatory progress on the U.S. CLARITY Act, improving market sentiment amid easing geopolitical tensions, and continued expansion of real-world asset tokenization. Andri Fauzan Adziima, Research Lead at Bitrue Research Institute, noted the purchase demonstrates institutional conviction despite subdued market conditions, reflecting a long-term accumulation strategy rather than short-term speculation.
