GateNews

On May 26, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and Chinese low-altitude economy firm Huitian reached a cooperation agreement on low-altitude domain development. The two parties plan to establish Central and Eastern Europe's first national-level low-altitude economic smart demonstration zone, centered around the 2027 Belgrade Expo and serving as a regional hub for research, testing, talent training, and standards development.

Huitian will participate in Serbia's low-altitude aviation pilot programs, including demonstration flights, testing, operational pilots, pilot training, and investment in local manufacturing. Serbia committed to providing support through land allocation, financing, regulatory frameworks, and policy incentives.
