SemiAnalysis Report Triggers AI Stock Selloff: NVIDIA 800V DC Delayed to 2028-2029, SK Hynix and SoftBank Drop Double Digits

According to a SemiAnalysis report released overnight on June 10, NVIDIA's 800V DC and CPO mass production may be delayed to 2028-2029, sparking a sharp selloff in AI-related stocks. SK Hynix and SoftBank saw intraday declines of up to 9% and 10% respectively, while U.S. AI stocks extended losses from the previous week and Asian markets followed suit.

The report indicated that 400V DC remains on track for 2026 ramp-up, while some NPO (near-package optics) projects may accelerate. The analysis flagged companies including LITE, COHR, AAO, and HIMX as facing near-term realization risks.
