Saudi Arabia Purchases $47.2M in Taiwanese Drones in June, Setting Single-Month Record

According to Taiwan's Central News Agency (CNA) citing government statistics released on July 23, Saudi Arabia purchased $47.2 million worth of Taiwanese drones in June, marking the largest single-month purchase by any country since Taiwan began tracking drone export data in June 2023. The purchase reflects Taiwan's strategy to build a non-China supply chain and expand defense exports to the Middle East, according to Bloomberg.
