According to The Block, Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev's X account was compromised on July 24, with the hacker posting messages promoting a false Meme token named "Vladhood" ($VLAD), claiming it would become the "official mascot of Robinhood Chain" and be added to the Robinhood app. The posts included a contract address. Robinhood Chain's block explorer flagged the token as "potential scam."

Robinhood's official account did not post similar messages. The company confirmed the account breach and stated it is working with X to restore access; the related posts have been deleted.
