According to Quant Network, on June 2, the company officially launched the Fusion Rollup mainnet, a multi-ledger rollup designed to connect 74 blockchain networks within a single execution environment. The system, described by CEO Gilbert Verdian as the first production-deployed multi-ledger rollup, operates as Layer 2.5, simultaneously anchoring to multiple Layer 1 blockchains rather than relying on a single Layer 1. Fusion supports major public blockchains including Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana, Polygon, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Base, and BNB Chain, along with permissioned networks and CBDC testing initiatives from central banks including the Bank of England and European Central Bank.
