Qatar Political Delegation Arrives in Iran Amid Regional Diplomacy Push, July 10

According to Iran's Tasnim news agency, a Qatari political delegation arrived in Iran on July 10 to consult with Iranian officials. The delegation traveled to Mashhad, where it is participating in the final stages of funeral ceremonies for Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Iran's former Supreme Leader. Meanwhile, Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani emphasized on July 10 the necessity of dialogue and diplomacy to ease regional tensions, according to Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
