Qatar-Linked LNG Tanker Begins Transit Through Strait of Hormuz on Saturday

GateNews

According to BlockBeats, a Qatar-linked liquefied natural gas tanker began transiting the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday, May 9, after loading cargo at Ras Laffan port earlier in the month. Ship tracking data shows the vessel is navigating the northern route near Qeshm and Larak islands, approved by Iran. If successful, this would mark the first known Qatar LNG export through the strait since the outbreak of conflict in late February.
