Portugal's Wildfire Spreads Beyond 10,000 Hectares; Requests EU Support on July 4

According to Jin10, Portugal's wildfire, driven by extreme heat, had burned over 10,000 hectares as of July 4. The government mobilized 1,100 firefighters, 380 fire trucks, and 8 aircraft and helicopters. On July 3, the EU expressed commitment to support Portugal in tackling the severe fire.

In response, 118 firefighters and 45 fire trucks from Spain have already arrived in Portugal to assist in containment efforts.
