Police Bust AI-Generated Fake Stock Market Information Scheme in Southwest China

According to Nanbu County Public Security Bureau, police recently cracked down on a case involving AI-generated false securities market information. A suspect surnamed Wang created approximately 3,000-character articles using AI and published them online to gain traffic revenue. The content included fabricated policies such as stock transfer tax and T+0 trading, along with misleading forecasts on market trends. After investigation by the China Securities Regulatory Commission, the false articles were removed, and Wang received administrative penalties.
