Philadelphia Semiconductor Index Surges 106% YTD, Nvidia Lags With Only 14% Gain

According to MarketWatch, the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index surged 106% year-to-date through June 23, 2026—on pace for its best first-half performance on record—yet Nvidia lagged all 30 components with just a 14% gain. Broadcom ranked second-worst at 15%. Meanwhile, other semiconductor stocks posted far steeper gains: Micron Technology jumped 324%, Intel gained 282%, ARM climbed 273%, and Marvell Technology rose 262%.
