PBoC and BIS Jointly Host High-Level Conference on Global Financial Uncertainty in Shanghai; 30 Countries Represented

The People's Bank of China (PBoC) and the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) jointly hosted a high-level conference on June 10 in Shanghai addressing global financial uncertainty, financial market developments, investment strategies, and the international monetary system. PBoC Governor Pan Gongsheng and BIS General Manager Pablo Hernández de Cos co-chaired the event, with PBoC Vice Governor Xuan Changneng also attending. Central bank governors and senior officials from approximately 30 countries and regions, including Brazil, Argentina, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, France, Germany, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, participated.
