On Tuesday, PayPal stock rose 4% to trade near $58.36 after the company reported stronger-than-expected second-quarter results and raised its full-year adjusted earnings outlook. Q2 revenue hit $8.68 billion, beating estimates of $8.47 billion, while adjusted EPS reached $1.38 versus the expected $1.28. Total payment volume climbed 10% year-over-year to $486.4 billion, surpassing forecasts of $473.93 billion.
PayPal lifted its full-year 2026 non-GAAP EPS guidance to approximately $5.38, above prior-year EPS of $5.31, and also increased full-year transaction margin dollar guidance. CEO Enrique Lores said the company continues to work through its business transformation across three units: checkout solutions and PayPal, consumer financial services and Venmo, and payment services and crypto.
