According to Financial Times, more than 441 large tanker-sized vessels gathered in waters off the Strait of Hormuz on June 21, awaiting the strategic waterway to fully reopen following negotiations between Iran and the United States. The vessels were positioned near Sohar port in Oman and Fujairah port in the UAE. European Space Agency satellite data confirmed the figure represents a significant increase above normal levels, though it declined by 42 ships compared to five days prior.
