According to Yubico, OpenAI partnered with the Stockholm-based security key maker to offer custom YubiKeys through its Advanced Account Security program. The program targets users at higher risk of phishing and account takeover attacks.
The bundle includes a YubiKey C NFC for mobile devices and a YubiKey C Nano for laptops, enabling hardware-based passkey sign-in instead of relying solely on passwords. The new set is now available to existing OpenAI account holders.
