Korea Investment Corporation's AUM Reaches $243.2B as of End of June

According to KIC President Park Il-young, the Korea Investment Corporation's assets under management reached $243.2 billion as of end of June, representing an increase of $11.2 billion from the end of last year. The announcement was made during a government report meeting at the presidential office on July 15. The government previously announced plans to restructure KIC into a comprehensive sovereign wealth fund by establishing a strategic investment account separate from its foreign exchange reserve trust account.
