According to Financial Times, on July 28, 2026, Nvidia signed a 15-year lease agreement with Hut 8 for the company's Beacon Point AI data center in Texas. The base contract value is $19.6 billion, with a potential total of $50.2 billion including renewal options. The facility spans 1 gigawatt of computing capacity. Nvidia did not formally confirm the agreement, stating only that it is accelerating AI infrastructure deployment through its DSX AI Factory architecture in collaboration with ecosystem partners.
