According to analytics platform Global Markets Investor, Nigerian equities have surpassed South Korean stocks in dollar-denominated returns since the start of 2026, with Nigeria's benchmark index gaining approximately 68% compared to the KOSPI's 66%. The ranking is based on Bloomberg data covering 92 stock exchanges worldwide, making Nigeria the global market leader for year-to-date performance.
