According to The National, Mubadala Capital tokenized its Alternative Solutions Fund on July 23, 2026, with $75 million in assets now live onchain. The fund operates on Coinbase's Base network alongside Solana and Sui, with additional share classes on Ethereum, Avalanche, Polygon, and Sei. Coinbase took a direct investment in the fund via its balance sheet, marking an early instance of a publicly traded crypto firm backing a tokenized private markets product. The fund targets qualified institutional and accredited investors with a minimum investment of approximately $100,000. UAE-based infrastructure provider KAIO administers the offering; KAIO's platform now manages roughly $144 million in total tokenized funds following Tether's $8 million funding round in April 2026.
