Moody's Assigns AAA-mf Rating to Fidelity Tokenized Fund

Moody’s Ratings assigned the highest grade, AAA-mf, to Fidelity USD Digital Liquidity Fund (FILQ), according to TheBlock’s report on the 13th (local time). The fund, which launched on the 6th, combines tokenized cash accessibility with money market fund returns to help institutions improve cash efficiency without sacrificing liquidity.

Fund Structure and Platform

FILQ is built on Signum’s Desygnate platform, which provides on-chain fund registration systems and supports smart contract-based settlement. The fund allows investors to buy into and redeem from the fund using stablecoins, creating a streamlined tokenized investment structure.

Investment Strategy

The fund invests in high-credit-government securities and is designed to combine the convenience of tokenized cash with the yield characteristics of traditional money market funds. This structure enables institutional investors to maintain liquidity while improving cash efficiency.
