According to Hyperinsight monitoring, Meta's META token jumped 9.14% on July 2, with pre-market trading pushing the price to $614.8. Following the news about Meta's AI cloud venture with 600,000 H100 GPU equivalent computing power, three on-chain whales were forced into floating losses on their short positions.

One whale address (0x8541) liquidated its entire short position in the past half hour as the price continued rising. The whale had opened a $2.99 million short at $601 and closed at $614, recording a loss of approximately $60,000.
