LG Electronics Announces 89.7B KRW Interim Dividend and 100B KRW Share Buyback Retirement Plan on July 29

According to Yonhap Infomax, LG Electronics announced today (July 29) an interim dividend of 89.7 billion KRW and a plan to retire 100 billion KRW worth of treasury shares within 2026. The interim dividend record date is set for August 13, with a cash dividend of 500 KRW per share payable on August 28. The company completed a 100 billion KRW share buyback in July following its announcement in January. The treasury shares to be retired comprise 588,589 common shares and 141,840 preferred shares. These shareholder return measures are part of LG Electronics' 200 billion KRW two-year capital allocation plan announced in December 2025.
