Korea's Financial Industry Leaders to Visit Tokyo in November to Study Japan's Valuation Enhancement Policies

According to the Korea Financial Investment Association, industry executives including KOFIA Chairman Hwang Sung-yeop and approximately 10 CEOs from major securities and asset management firms will visit Tokyo, Japan in November. The delegation aims to examine Japan's valuation enhancement (Valup) program, which has boosted corporate governance and shareholder returns, as well as the tax-free investment system (NISA) that has driven retail investment growth. The group also plans to visit Japanese semiconductor and innovation companies. The visit follows a similar trip to China and Singapore in April and reflects efforts to develop investment products and advance capital market modernization.
