Kenya Dismantles Telecom Fraud Den in Nairobi, Deports Chinese Nationals

According to Odaily, Kenyan police recently dismantled an illegal telecommunications fraud operation in Kilimani district, Nairobi, and apprehended and deported Chinese nationals suspected of involvement in cross-border scams. The operation is part of a wider trend of transnational fraud and online gambling criminal networks shifting operations to Africa. Perpetrators have been recruiting participants under false pretenses of high-paying jobs and business partnerships to establish illegal bases across the region, disrupting local security and creating risks for Chinese citizens' safety and livelihoods.
