According to PANews, on June 26, AI researcher Andrej Karpathy praised Claude AI assistant on X, calling it "like a real teammate," but faced attacks from users accusing him of promotion. Karpathy subsequently criticized X's algorithm for actively promoting anger, insults, and harassment to drive engagement, noting the toxic environment reduced his own posting and platform usage.

In response, Elon Musk stated, "We need to thoroughly reform the algorithm."
