According to JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon, speaking on Tuesday (May 12) at the bank’s annual global markets conference in Paris, the firm will reconsider its investment in a new London headquarters if the UK government increases taxes on banks. Dimon stated that while political instability alone is not a concern, renewed hostile policies toward the banking sector would prompt a reassessment. He noted that JPMorgan has already paid approximately $10 billion in additional taxes in the UK, which he described as neither reasonable nor fair.
