Japan's Foreign Minister Holds Call with Iran's Counterpart on July 28, Urges Flexibility

According to Jin10, on July 28, Japan's Foreign Minister Motegi Toshimitsu held a phone call with Iran's Foreign Minister Araghchi. Motegi urged Iran to demonstrate maximum flexibility to rapidly ease tensions and emphasized the importance of continued negotiations between the U.S. and Iran. Motegi stated that issues should be addressed in accordance with a memorandum of understanding, and Japan will work to support relevant negotiations. Araghchi explained the current state of U.S.-Iran relations and Iran's position during the call.
