Israel Cannot Block US-Iran Memo Signing But May Create Friction, Expert Says

According to CCTV News and Li Zixin, assistant researcher at China Institute of International Studies, Israel cannot block the signing of a US-Iran memorandum of understanding, as it is not a direct party to the accord and holds no veto power. However, Israel may create friction by manufacturing existing conditions to undermine ceasefire terms. While both the US and Iran have strong incentives to achieve a ceasefire, Israel could increase the difficulty of reaching a final agreement through low-intensity provocations.
