Israel-Based Rylo Raises $85M at $500M Valuation Led by General Catalyst and Canaan

According to Calcalist, Israel-based Rylo raised $85 million at an estimated valuation of $500 million in a funding round led by General Catalyst and Canaan, with participation from existing investors including Cardumen Capital, Vertex Precursor, and K5 Global. The company's total funding now reaches $101 million. Rylo develops AI-powered speech-to-text and text-to-speech tools designed to help deaf and hard-of-hearing users make phone calls without traditional relay operators. The platform supports 50 languages and has received Federal Communications Commission certification to provide internet protocol captioned telephone service under the federal relay framework.
