Iran's State TV Broadcasts Military Gun Training, Anchor Fires Rifle at UAE Flag on Air

According to Yonhapnews, Iran’s state-run broadcaster Opogo aired military gun training on May 15-16, with Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps officers instructing news anchor Hossein Hosseini on operating AK-47 assault rifles, including disassembly, loading, and firing techniques. During one broadcast, Hosseini loaded ammunition and fired the rifle while aiming at a UAE flag displayed on the studio backdrop, though it remains unconfirmed whether live rounds were used. On May 17, another guard officer demonstrated PK machine gun operation on air. A female anchor on another state channel appeared on May 16 holding a rifle, declaring her readiness to sacrifice her life for the nation.
