Iran's Parliament Speaker and Foreign Minister to Sign Agreement with U.S. VP Vance in Geneva on June 15

According to the New York Times, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Kalibaf and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi will travel to Geneva on June 15 to sign an agreement, with U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance representing the United States. This marks the highest-level meeting between Iran and Washington in 47 years since the two nations severed diplomatic relations following the 1979 Iranian Revolution.

The agreement will stipulate that Iran and the United States respect each other's sovereignty and will not interfere in each other's internal affairs, according to Araghchi.
