Iran Announces 60 Days of Free Transit Through Strait of Hormuz Under U.S. Accord

According to Iranian media, Iran's Supreme National Security Council announced today (June 18) that ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz will be exempt from fees for 60 days under a U.S.-Iran memorandum of understanding. The Iranian government will bear all costs associated with the policy.
