According to Guru Club, on May 24 early morning Beijing time, international crude oil futures plummeted over 9%. New York crude oil and Brent crude oil both fell sharply by 5:20 AM. Bitcoin surged over 1% to $76,655 per coin in response, while the broader crypto market saw over 120,000 traders liquidated in the past 24 hours. The selloff followed U.S. President Trump's announcement on May 23 that the U.S. and Iran have largely reached an agreement, with final details pending discussion and expected disclosure soon.
