BTC0.82%
According to Capriole Investments founder Charles Edwards, institutional Bitcoin selling has reached a record level recently, with massive entities shedding supply equal to 460% of daily mining output. The "Net Institutional Buying" metric, which tracks holdings changes across spot ETFs and digital asset treasury companies, has turned deeply negative for the first time. Edwards noted that spot ETFs have driven the selloff while corporate holders continued net buying. Bitcoin was trading around $62,300 after retracing below $61,000 earlier.
