According to Bloomberg, Indonesia's Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa announced on Tuesday that the country plans to issue panda bonds worth 7 billion yuan (approximately 1 billion USD) for the first time, with bond pricing expected on July 23 depending on market conditions. Purbaya stated that investors have responded positively to Indonesia's yuan-denominated bonds.
