India and UAE Expand Strategic Oil Reserves Partnership, ADNOC Targets 30M Barrels by May 15

According to Jin10, on May 15, India and the United Arab Emirates announced a strategic partnership to expand crude oil and natural gas reserves. Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) plans to significantly increase its crude oil storage capacity in India, targeting 30 million barrels. The two countries will also collaborate on establishing strategic natural gas reserves in India. The preliminary agreement was announced during Indian Prime Minister Modi’s stopover in Abu Dhabi.
