ICON Network to Shut Down on December 31, ICX Migration Deadline Synchronized

According to Foresight News, ICON network will permanently shut down on December 31, with the blockchain halting operations while retaining read-only archives for historical transaction queries. ICX to SODA token migration deadline is also December 31, after which migration will no longer be possible.

Starting September 30, only one-way ICX to SODA migration will be supported. ICON, an L1 network launched in 2017 with ICX as its native token, is transitioning to SODAX infrastructure. Token migration occurs at a 1:1 ratio between ICX and SODA.
