IAEA: Unable to Access Most Iranian Nuclear Facilities for Inspections; Uranium Stockpile Unchanged

According to IAEA's quarterly report on Iran's nuclear program released in June 2026, the agency cannot access most of Iran's nuclear facilities to conduct inspections, with the exception of Bushehr. The IAEA has neither received information from Iran regarding the status of its declared nuclear materials or facilities, nor has it been able to enter any of these sites for on-site verification activities.

The agency's estimate of Iran's uranium enrichment stockpile as of June 13, 2025, remains unchanged from previous reports. The IAEA emphasized that effective implementation of the NPT safeguards agreement in Iran is essential and urgent, and that the agreement must not be suspended. Timely IAEA inspection activities in Iran remain critical.
