Iran's 80 Million Barrels of Oil Blocked Behind U.S. Naval Blockade in May

According to the U.S. nonprofit organization UANI, approximately 80 million barrels of Iranian oil and petrochemical products were stranded behind U.S. naval blockade lines in May. However, Iran did manage to export four shipments of naphtha totaling 2 million barrels and a small amount of liquefied petroleum gas. The blockade line extends from the eastern tip of Oman to the Iran-Pakistan border. In February, prior to the blockade's intensification, Iran exported over 59 million barrels of oil and fuel.
