IAEA Mediates Russia-Ukraine Ceasefire; Repairs Begin on 750kV Zaporizhzhia Power Line

According to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Russia and Ukraine reached a localized ceasefire on June 19, enabling the start of repairs on the 750kV main transmission line supplying power to Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Station. The facility, one of Europe's largest nuclear plants, has been under Russian control since Ukraine's military escalation in February 2022.
