Hyundai Motor Union Announces 4-Hour Daily Strikes on July 29-31

According to Yonhapnews, Hyundai Motor's union announced on July 23 that it will conduct daily 4-hour strikes from July 29 to 31. The Metal Workers' Union's Hyundai Motor chapter made the decision at a central dispute committee meeting. This follows earlier strikes on July 13-15 (2 hours daily) and July 20-22 (4 hours daily). The union and company remain at odds over wage increases, bonus raises, reinstatement of dismissed members, and retirement age extensions.
