Huawei Releases HarmonyOS 7 Beta With 2,000+ AI Agents on June 12

Huawei released HarmonyOS 7 as a beta to developers yesterday (June 12) at its annual developer conference, featuring an upgraded AI assistant that can understand context, remember past interactions, and connect with more than 2,000 specialized AI agents. The assistant can handle complex tasks such as building marathon training plans from a user's health and calendar data or locating and sending files from a connected laptop. Huawei said the agent framework has a 90% success rate on complex tasks. The operating system is expected to debut on Huawei's next flagship smartphone later this year.
