According to Smart Finance, Hong Kong's main stock indices recovered on July 23, with power grid equipment stocks rallying sharply. Grid Equipment ETF Huaxia (159326.SZ) gained 5.2% to 1.659 yuan, Grid Equipment ETF GTJA (561380.SH) rose 5.14% to 0.736 yuan, and Grid Equipment ETF GF (159320.SZ) climbed 5.09% to 0.619 yuan.
The rally was driven by both policy and fundamental factors. The National Development and Reform Commission and National Energy Administration jointly released the "15th Five-Year Plan for Renewable Energy Development," which emphasizes "moderately advancing power grid infrastructure construction" to enhance inter-provincial transmission capacity and promote collaborative development of distribution networks and smart microgrids. On the fundamental side, State Grid's third batch of ultra-high voltage and transmission equipment bidding results were released, with listed companies including China XD Electric and Pinggao Electric securing combined contracts worth over 6.3 billion yuan. Record electricity demand across China has intensified power supply pressures, directly driving expansion and upgrade requirements for transmission and distribution equipment.
