Hezbollah Conducts Strikes Against Israeli Forces in Southern Lebanon on June 19

According to Hezbollah's statement on June 19, the armed group conducted strikes against Israeli forces attempting to infiltrate the southern Lebanese regions of Tabnin and Ali al-Tahir. The statement indicated that Hezbollah members engaged Israeli forces trying to advance northward from Ali al-Tahir, and subsequently attacked a reinforcement unit. Israel's Defense Ministry released a map of a proposed "security zone" in southern Lebanon on June 18, with both Tabnin and Ali al-Tahir located on its periphery.
