Google Launches Pixel 11 Series on August 12 with TSMC N2 Tensor G6 Chip, First Globally

Google announced on Tuesday, July 7 that its flagship Pixel 11 series will launch on August 12, featuring the custom-built Tensor G6 chip manufactured on TSMC's first-generation 2-nanometer (N2) process. The Pixel 11 will be the first smartphone globally to use N2, arriving approximately one month ahead of Apple's iPhone 17 series and other competitors using N2P (second-generation 2nm).

The N2 process delivers 10-15% better performance at equivalent power consumption or 25-30% lower power consumption at the same performance level compared to the current N3E process, with 15% higher transistor density.
