Gold Futures Rise 1.71% to $4,146.30 Per Ounce on July 22

According to COMEX data, gold futures for August delivery rose $69.90, or 1.71%, to $4,146.30 per troy ounce on July 22 (U.S. Eastern Time). The rally marks a second consecutive day of gains. Despite headwinds from rising U.S. Treasury yields, which typically reduce gold's appeal as a non-yielding asset, buying interest at the $4,000 support level is driving the rebound. Activizes chief analyst Ricardo Evangelista noted that the $4,000 level remains a strong technical support, though energy price volatility poses risks to further gains.
