Gold Futures Rise 0.27% to $4,518.60 on June 2; Copper Climbs 1.88% to $6.68

On Tuesday, June 2, COMEX gold futures rose 0.27% to close at $4,518.60 per ounce, with intraday trading ranging from $4,463.23 to $4,571.30. Spot gold rose 0.06% to $4,487.82 per ounce.

COMEX copper futures led gains with a 1.88% surge to $6.6760 per pound, trading between $6.5275 and $6.6980, approaching the May 13 peak of $6.7160. COMEX silver futures rose 0.27% to $75.455 per ounce, while spot silver climbed 0.39% to $75.1334. Spot platinum gained 0.34% to $1,935.68 per ounce, and spot palladium rose 0.77% to $1,372.55 per ounce.
